Settle in for a swinging afternoon and evening of live jazz, headlined by the UK’s finest big band the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.
Directed by wise-cracking MD Pete Long, the 18-piece band’s exciting brew of virtuoso ensemble playing with killer solo contributions will delight jazz fans from newcomers to regulars. The orchestra will be joined by guest singers, direct from the legendary Soho club, celebrating the music of Ella Fitzgerald to Stevie Wonder, Cab Calloway to Frank Sinatra, Chaka Khan and many more!
Supporting will be the London African Gospel Choir bringing their joyous interpretation of Paul Simon’s Graceland album with a full live band, while UK jazz royalty Claire Martin OBE and Ray Gelato join forces on-stage for a tour de force of feel-good classics.
Last but not least, the action-packed Swinging at the Cotton Club celebrate the music, dance, and songs of the Cotton Club – New York City’s legendary nightclub of the 1920s and ‘30s - featuring a full swing band and the Lindy Hop Dance Company.
